Uniformed Public Service Students Remember the Fallen

A group of students from Newcastle-under-Lyme College (NULC) took part in a wreath laying ceremony in Newcastle-under-Lyme town centre.  Accompanied by their tutors, the Uniformed Public Service students, some representing local cadet units, paid their respects after attending a short Remembrance Service at the College.

James Taylor who laid the wreath on behalf of the College said: “It was a privilege and honour to represent the College on Remembrance Day.  As a student on the Level 3 Uniformed Public Service course I believe it is important for us to understand, recognise and remember the sacrifices made by millions over the years.”

Another student in attendance, Rob Leese added: “One of the units we study on the course is War and Conflict; attending the wreath laying ceremony and the Remembrance Service beforehand reminds us all of the consequences of War.”
